History of this Site

The falconers.org.uk site has been in existence since February 2003, and since around March 2011, the domains falconersfdc.org.uk and falconerscdc.org.uk also resolve to the same site. The site provides information about the Falconers FDC in a timely way and also provide information on the Falconers Band.

About the site

I used to maintain the site with entirely hand-written html and css, but for some years now have used various products to make the management and development of the site somewhat easier.

Privacy, cookies and tracking

This site uses a couple of cookies to support some of the functionality of the site. A  cookie is a small piece of data (typically less than 50 bytes each) stored on your computer and exchanged with the website. Cookies are used to identify your computer or device to the website.  We do not use cookies to analyse how the site is used or to track you in any way.   
The site does not use advertising nor attempt to track visitors to the site.  We do not use analytics code (e.g. Google analytics) to obtain statistics on visitors nor use any other trackers from social networks such as Facebook or Twitter, etc.  
The server does record information which is used to generate statistics such as numbers of page requests, bandwidth and browser type used by visitors.
